Program Governance
The Water Reform Program is a set of projects and work streams created to establish the policy and regulatory framework for the new SEQ Local Government-owned water and wastewater businesses.
Overall program direction is provided by the Council of Mayors (SEQ). The program is steered by the Program Control Group (PCG) which is made up of Council CEOs or their delegates.
The program is currently made up of three streams of work:
- Legal and Regulatory Stream
- Finance, Pricing, Valuation and Due Diligence Stream
- Human Resources and Industrial Relations Stream
The work streams consist of representatives from the SEQ Councils and they are coordinated by the Water Reform Program Management Office, Stream Managers and the Program Director. The Program Management Office reports to the Program Control Group (PCG) which, in turn, provides advice and recommendations to the Council of Mayors (SEQ).
