Welcome to the Water Reform Program

The Council of Mayors’ (SEQ) Water Reform Program has been established to support the South East Queensland Councils with the implementation of the State Government's Institutional Water Reforms.

The program is assisting with development of the policy and regulatory frameworks required to transition the current water businesses from Councils into three integrated distribution and retail businesses.

Our objective is to aid Councils in the separation and transition of the water businesses, while maintaining continuity of water services and supply to the community.
